There is no precise period or even a modality that can place the birth of the brand, however it is as if it was born with me, innate within me. I have always been a curious person, hungry for knowledge, always ready to broaden my horizons, both cognitive and emotional, always attentive to what moves and changes around me, which evolves with the possible consequences that change inevitably entails and the direction towards which it would turn as I perceive it and how it manages to stimulate and transform me.
All these external impulses and stimuli pushed me to study fashion and, later, civil engineering and architecture, also obtaining specializations in interior design. The combination of fashion/engineering might seem strange, but it is not at all. On the contrary, one has intersected with the other, intriguing and intriguing me more and more, to the point of pushing me to study both things over the years, mixing and amalgamating them (being also an interior designer, as well as an engineer) and pushing me more and more to start a real methodical study on both the foundations and aspects of these two forms of creation.Years of study have passed, even if in the meantime I have worked in both sectors, a bit like pianists who fill the stave with numerous "Exercises", before arriving at a sonata or other type of composition that represents them, transmitting it to the eyes of the public without anyone knowing what the composer's real state of mind is at that given moment and if it really corresponds to those who listen to him.
This path has given life to my brand philosophy that collects the study, observation and sensations stimulated by the surrounding environment, addressing our very rich tradition in numerous and varied fields, pushing itself to an elaboration also in a modern key of the same, from the fabrics to the type of workmanship that has encouraged me irrepressibly to communicate to others the beauties and wonders of my land, representing and launching, at times, social signals.
The mix of different studies, of different yet complementary works, even painting, gave life to the MGC brand that has received several awards and requests from the public, encouraging me to grow and enter the fashion market by making available my collections as well as personalized creations and unique pieces.
I define myself as a "creative" who has nourished herself and continues to do so by drawing inspiration from everything that surrounds me, especially in my beloved Sicily, which with its wonders that only it is capable of offering, has been able to stimulate my imagination. To this, I have added trips to different continents. From here a
contamination of cultures, traditions, colors, designs and architectures very different from my land, but which have positively influenced my ideas.
The experiences I have experienced have led me to build pieces of collections day after day, until I reached my own fashion philosophy signed MGC which has as its fundamental points tradition, innovation and communication, aspiring to reinvent reality with the femininity and perfectionism that distinguishes it, of reciprocity between beauty and renewal, reflecting the "Contemporary Woman".
The fabrics and models of my creations, soft and with an excellent fit, are aimed at a very wide range of the female public, from teenagers to a more mature age, thanks also to the differentiation of styles and creative motifs.
A cosmopolitan woman, inspired by young people, professional, independent, sophisticated and active. This is the image of the woman that I want to convey and transmit, and the way I do it is mainly through the graphics I have designed in the fabrics of my collections.
Fashion, like any art form, tends to express something. I try to express beauty, which is the image of a new, determined woman, who loves practicality and who wants to always be special at any time of the day, always maintaining her femininity regardless of her lifestyle.
